RULES of TOURNAMENT

Species Hunt.

Catch & Release.

Competition will start on 1st July 2008.

The winner and British Champion will be the kayak fisherman/fisherwoman who completes the AnglersAfloat British Open Species Hunt list of required species (minus 3x discards) and posts their full catch with photographs on the forum first.

There is no time limit.

The AnglersAfloat British Open Species Hunt list includes 24 species,
these species have been selected by a panel of fishermen around the country.
To make life a little easier for the competitors we have decided to allow 3 discards from the list, therefore only 21 species need be caught, a mammoth task in itself.

Fish to be caught by fair means using Rod and Line.

Fish to be caught from a kayak.

Proof of catch to be supplied as digital photograph,
fish must be photographed in the kayak at sea
along with the official coupon in the photograph.

Name of competitor and name of each species
to accompany photographs.

Trophy for British Champion, medals for 2nd and 3rd places.

All entrants must be 18 years or older on day of entry.

This is a fun event so no cheating!
